Alex Day is a emerging musician signed to Hank Green's DFTBA record which sponsors up and coming internet artists like Alex Day. While Alex makes sweet and catchy pop rock tunes he also posts daily vlogs with his best friend, room-mate and fellow band member Charlie.
Alex's most watched postings are strangely enough him "reading" Stephanie Meyer's Twilight book to his followers. Alex's sarcastic and begrudging reading of the novel is what attracts many cynics and even fans of the book series to his videos. Alex continually openly states how poorly written the book is while he highlights various plot hokes, absurdities and just down right ridiculous aspects of the Twilight universe.
I honestly do not envy the position that Alex is in, He makes music but he has to read and recount what he has read in those abysmally tacky novels. But hey, he has an extremely large audience and that's more then I could ever dream of for reading such a derivative novel, l think it's his sexy accent that attracts all those views. Despite the popularity of the videos and the many requests for Alex to read the other 3 books in the series he has hastily declined as it seems the first book is a lot more tortuous then he originally envisioned.
So if you want to know what all the fuss is all about in these Twilight books then let Alex Day resentfully take you through the deary and uninspiring world of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen.
