The Legend of Zelda games produced by Nintendo are among the most beloved video games series of all-time. In fact The Zelda series is celebrated it's 25th Anniversary since the release of the First game of the series, The Legend of Zelda on the Nintendo Entertainment System. The Legend of Neil pays homage to the original game which is where this parody web-series is set.

Picked up by Comedy Central Partner atom.com, the Series has spanned 3 seasons which ran from 2007 to 2010. Created, Written, Directed and Starring Sandeep Parikh (Who also plays Zaboo from the Guild) and also starring Felicia Day (The Guild, Dr Horrible Sing-a-Long Blog) the series is immensely popular online, it has been nominated for various Streamy awards over the 3 years the series has been active.

The surreal concept of the series follows Neil, a wayward slacker who gets drunk one night playing the Legend of Zelda. He then asphyxiates himself with a Nintendo game controller while masturbating to the fairy in the game which somehow.... yes somehow transports him into the game. Yep, It's like Tron meets Clerks in a weird kind of way.

Once in the Neil's quest is to find all the Pieces of the Tri-Force and rescue the Princess Zelda. On his journey he is aided by The Old Man, His tourettes syndrome victim Brother, A nymphomaniac Fairy and various other residents of the Hyrule Kingdom. Various complications arise and hilarity ensues, The series is a love letter to all those 20 something slackers out there now that spent hours upon hours trying to retrieve the Tri-Force and Save the Princess.

It's Dangerous to go Alone... take this... Season One of the Legend of Neil
