I honestly have no damn idea what kind of drugs the Skittles marketing teams take or what kind of idea those in charge of publicity over at Skittles have but lord help them, they make so interesting / memorable advertisements. These advertisements come so far out of left field you just have no idea what to expect next from the Skittles advertising and promotions team.
Some memorable advertisements in the past as just too ridiculous to describe, here are some examples.
But the latest Skittles marketing campaign focus on interactive internet commercials. Now as far fetched as that sounds, they've managed to get people involved with their product online and the results are Amazing. Getting a viewer to personally interact with a commercial is just brilliant and will ensure a strong brand recognition and retention for a long while as well as attract new customers, just like the Old Spice commercials you won't soon forget these ads.
