5 seconds is all you need to tell as story, at least that's what Brian “Boss Man” Firenzi of 5 Second Films thinks. 2 seconds for an Intro, 5 seconds for the film and 1 second of end titles. Simple rules and has thus been the agenda of 5 Second Films since the Spring of 2005.

Short film makers the world over have submitted and uploaded their 5 second masterpieces onto 5 Second Films database, there are quite a few gems amongst them, admittedly considering the format the selection tend to skew towards Comedy rather then any other genre but then again, its not often you can get across a gripping drama in 5 seconds... Unless you're really talented.

Either way it's a fantastic community project and if you have a minute or two to burn, check out 5 Second Films in your short down time. Digging to China is my personal favourite of the lot.
